Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement professional to enhance surgical performance and patient safety within the Children’s Surgery Program.

The role focuses on conducting case reviews, collaborating with physician champions, and translating data into actionable quality improvements at the bedside. The position requires pediatric clinical experience, training in performance improvement, and the ability to lead cross-functional change.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years pediatric clinical experience.
• 1+ year of High Reliability/Performance Improvement experience.
• Experience with regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission).
• Current State of Arizona RN License.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and improves surgical performance improvement and patient safety practices by affecting care and processes at the bedside.
• Conducts surgical case reviews and reports to the Children’s Surgery Program Manager.
• Creates trends from NSQIP and CSV data reflecting current practice.
• Develops processes and infrastructure in compliance with Children’s Surgery Verification.
• Leads action plans and implements interventions to sustain improvement organization-wide.
