Job summary

UPMCPhysician Services is seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse (OP) to join a pediatrics-focused care team. The nurse will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, and guide patients and families through the care process.

Responsibilities include quality improvement participation, teaching patients and families, and coordinating care across the care team. BSN preferred; RN licensure required with CPR/BLS per policy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in PA or compact state.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a group of patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to plan and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement a plan of care in partnership with the patient and family.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
