Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Spinal Surgery.
• Must be board certified/eligible by ABOS or in final year of ACGME program.
• Eligibility for active and unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for pediatric spinal disorders.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical management based on current standards of care.
• Inpatient/outpatient care including preop/postop management and discharge planning.
• Perform operative procedures in accordance with institutional standards.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, physiatrists, therapists, anesthesiologists and subspecialists.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in on-call coverage as assigned.
• Contribute to quality improvement, peer review, and clinical governance.
• Engage in medical education, research, and scholarly activities as appropriate.
