Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Spine Surgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery with pediatric spine subspecialty.
• Eligibility for active medical licensure and DEA.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and treatment planning for pediatric spinal deformities.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical management per current standards.
• Inpatient/outpatient care including pre/postoperative management.
• Collaborate with subspecialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in call coverage, rounds, and quality improvement.
