Job summary

Shriners Children’s Portland seeks an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with expertise in treating complex spinal deformities. This high-volume role focuses ~90% on spine care, including early onset scoliosis, Mehta casting, and anterior/posterior spinal surgery.

The candidate will participate in outreach clinics in Redmond, OR, and Vancouver, WA and work with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires an MD/DO degree, completed orthopedic residency, and pediatric spine

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-approved Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Spine required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and treatment planning for pediatric spine deformities.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical management following current standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR per hospital policies.
