Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant - School-Based to support students at charter schools and medical/out-patient settings. The role follows the school calendar and provides direct therapy under supervision.

The candidate will hold a Florida SLP-A license, possess a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders, and preferably one year of pediatric experience within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping children achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and Disorders.
• Active Speech Language Pathology Assistant License from the State of Florida.
• One year experience in pediatric population preferred.
• New graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conducts therapy sessions and interventions based on students' needs.
• Assists speech language pathologist in establishing goals.
• Meets productivity and ensures services per IEPs.
• Collaborates with education staff to integrate goals into class activities.
• Completes and submits accurate documentation.
