Job summary

Central Florida Therapy in Sanford, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric clinic.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A Florida license and CCC from ASHA are required; CFY considered. Position can be employee or contract.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Valid Florida SLP license required.
  • ASHA CCC required or CFY accepted.
  • Experience with pediatric populations and AAC preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Central Florida Therapy, a leading pediatric therapy clinic in Sanford, FL, is seeking a talented and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
  • Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and write reports as needed
  • Educate and involve parents/caregivers in therapy goals and strategies
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CFY will be considered.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (clinical internships included)
  • Experience with AAC preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Position can be employee or contract depending upon the needs of candidate
