Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients onsite. You will provide family education and implement evidence-based therapy plans across age groups, following department protocols.

The role requires a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology, Ohio licensure, and CCC-SLP. Experience with all organizational levels and MS Office proficiency are preferred. Onsite full-time position with 80 hours bi-weekly scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Ohio licensure and CCC-SLP (ASHA) required.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized measures.
• Develop management/treatment programs aligned with diagnosis and protocols.
• Document medical records and insurance requirements per standards.
• Care for patients across age groups and support families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
