Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Speech Pathologist to perform comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures and to develop management and treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.

The role is part-time, onsite, and involves providing thorough documentation of services and contributing to department projects. A Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with Ohio licensure is required, with ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• State licensure in SLP required in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures.
• Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
• Provides appropriate case management/therapeutic intervention.
• Provides appropriate written documentation of services provided.
• Assumes responsibility for ancillary/priority services within department and participates in department development.
• Other duties as required.
