Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our Houston, TX team. You will support pediatric speech-language therapy services in a child-centered environment, implementing treatment plans under a supervising SLP and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or CSD; Texas SLPA licensure eligibility.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Knowledge of AAC and speech-language therapy techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; compassionate and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans under supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy for pediatric patients targeting communication, articulation, language, and fluency goals.
• Document patient progress and maintain session notes and data.
• Prepare therapy materials, activities, and resources to support treatment plans.
• Communicate with supervising SLPs, families, and caregivers regarding progress.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and evaluations under the direction of a licensed SLP.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment for pediatric clients.
