The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support licensed SLPs in evaluating and treating students with IEPs for speech and language services. You will work directly with children, assisting therapy sessions and implementing treatment plans under supervision.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in SLPA or related field.
SLPA certification or eligibility.
Experience with pediatric populations.
Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and materials.

Ability to work with a therapy team.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed SLPs in therapy sessions.
Implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
Document progress and maintain records.
Collaborate with SLPs to adjust strategies.
Engage and interact with students warmly.
Coordinate scheduling with SLP and school staff.
