Job summary

Personal Touch Therapy, LLC in the Houston area is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric speech and language services in patients' homes or local settings under the supervision of licensed SLPs.

The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting progress data, documenting notes, coordinating with families and the therapeutic team, and traveling to multiple homes within the service area.

Qualifications

• When applying, hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Must be current or eligible for Texas SLPA license per state requirements.
• Ability to travel to multiple patient homes within Houston service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients in homes, daycares, Head Starts, or ABA centers under supervision of licensed SLPs.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and collect progress data for each patient.
• Complete and submit treatment notes and necessary documentation promptly.
• Facilitate communication between SLPs, families, and the child’s therapeutic team.
• Equip parents with activities to support language development outside therapy sessions.
