Job summary

Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for pediatric patients with communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders.

You will design individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and school resources, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology
• Licensed in state of practice
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's)

Responsibilities

• Implements comprehensive patient examination and evaluation using national standards and AMA CPT codes.
• Designs, develops and implements individualized treatment plans to address communication and/or swallowing problems to optimize function.
• Prepares discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families, care management, and community resources such as schools/outside therapy clinics, and participates in multidisciplinary meetings.
