Job summary

Shriner's Children’s seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit, providing intensive, function-based therapy for pediatric patients in collaboration with a pediatric physiatrist and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge coordination, with potential exposure to burns, orthopedics, acute care, and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology required.
• CCC's certification preferred/required.
• Licensed SLP in state of Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with pediatric physiatrist and multidisciplinary team in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Participate in discharge planning and community referrals.
