Job summary

Shriners Children’s in Missouri seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluations, treatment plans and therapy in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, collaborating with a Pediatric Physiatrist and multi-disciplinary team.

You will gain exposure to burn, orthopedic, acute care and outpatient settings, with opportunities for program development and professional growth in a children-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Speech Pathology.
• Licensed SLP in Missouri required.
• CCC certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic patient examinations and evaluations in a multidisciplinary inpatient setting.
• Design, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for communication and/or swallowing.
• Collaborate with families, schools, care management and other clinicians for discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support risk management and compliance.
