Job summary

Soliant Health in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support pediatric caseloads across several school districts near New Ulm. This in-person contract role covers maternity leaves and helps districts manage high caseloads.

As a floating SLP, you’ll work in multiple settings, collaborate with students, families and teachers, and travel between districts with the vehicle provided.

Qualifications

  • CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFY considered.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as SLP.
  • Pediatric population experience in school-based settings.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to varying school cultures and caseloads.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for working with diverse students.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech-language services in multiple schools, covering and long-term support.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and district policies.
  • Contribute to positive student outcomes across assigned locations.

Job description

Embrace an adventure-filled opportunity working as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting pediatric caseloads across several school districts near New Ulm, MN. This unique, in-person contract role is ideal for enthusiastic SLPs eager to make a difference in diverse educational settings, providing coverage for maternity leaves, assisting with high caseloads, and supporting districts where families prefer in-person services over virtual options.

Serving as a "floating" SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills by working in a variety of school environments, collaborating closely with students, parents, and educational teams. A vehicle is provided to ensure seamless travel between the participating districts.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
  • Current (or eligibility for) state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience with pediatric populations in school-based settings
  • Ability to adapt quickly to varying school cultures and caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for working with students with diverse needs
