Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time evening schedule in Park Ridge, IL. You will develop and implement pediatric treatment plans, set goals to improve communication, and work closely with families to reinforce therapy strategies.

The role requires a master’s degree in SLP, Praxis, CFY completion, and IL licensure eligibility, with a supportive multidisciplinary team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
