Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Lombard, IL is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support children from birth to 18 years old through individualized treatment plans and goal-focused therapy.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to grow in feeding therapy and AAC evaluations, while benefiting from medical/dental/vision options, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and a fun, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client-specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
