Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children birth to 18 develop communication skills through fun, collaborative therapy. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team including OT, PT, counselors, and ABA professionals to deliver effective care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
