Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help children age birth to 18 develop communication skills. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, have completed CFY, pass the Praxis, and are licensed or eligible to practice in Illinois. Evenings and Saturdays are required to meet families' needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology must be passed.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients' family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
