Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Valid Ohio License in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA certification or eligibility for supervision during fellowship is required.
• Previous pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to determine developmental and functional status and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Administers therapy to improve communication, feeding, and swallowing, adjusting plans as needed.
• Educates families on goals and exercises to follow at home and monitors progress.
• Documents patient care and maintains caseload, scheduling, and billing records.
• Communicates with physicians and care teams and collaborates across services.
• Delivers educational programs for staff, students, and community and supervises trainees.
