Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. This role is based at our Downtown Campus within the ECMH Outpatient Clinic, focusing on integrated health to support development.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Ohio licensure, and ASHA certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid Ohio license in Speech Pathology required.
• ASHA Certification or eligible for supervision during fellowship.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire or post expiration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with family involvement.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to promote communication and development.
• Educate patients and families on goals and home activities.
• Document care and manage caseload, scheduling, and charges.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers.
• Conduct educational programs for staff and students.
• Supervise students and Clinical Fellows.
