Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland licensure or be eligible to obtain licensure before providing services.
• Pediatric experience preferred, especially with early childhood.
• Commitment to neuroaffirming, respectful, family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, evidence-based pediatric speech-language therapy within role and scope of practice.
• Support functional communication, speech production, language development, and AAC use per child’s needs.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and other team members to coordinate care.
• Engage parents and caregivers with clear communication and practical strategies for home.
• Adapt sessions to each child’s interests, strengths, sensory needs, and communication style.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation and contribute to progress discussions.
