Maryland Speech & Feeding is a pediatric practice where connection, play, and clinical curiosity guide our care. We provide speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, feeding services, and AAC support, with a strong focus on infants, toddlers, and young children.
We’re looking for an SLP or SLPA who enjoys working with children, values family involvement, and wants to be part of a team that thinks creatively and works together.
We look for each child’s strengths. Our approach is neuroaffirming, individualized, and child-led. We take time to understand how a child communicates, what helps them feel comfortable, and which supports allow them to participate.
Collaboration is part of our care. Speech and occupational therapists work together, including through co-treatment when appropriate, to support communication, regulation, engagement, and meaningful progress.
Therapy has room to move and play. Our clinic includes a sensory gym and spaces that support natural interaction, movement, and learning through play.
We value clinical curiosity. When a child has difficulty participating or making progress, we ask questions, adjust our approach, and brainstorm together. We’re looking for someone who sees those moments as opportunities to better understand the child.
Families are part of the team. We prioritize practical caregiver education and goals that make a difference in everyday routines.
For SLPs: Conduct evaluations, develop and update treatment plans, and provide clinical recommendations. Feeding opportunities may be available based on training, experience, and clinical competency.
For SLPAs: Implement treatment activities and collect progress data under the supervision of a licensed SLP, within Maryland’s authorized scope of practice.
We are hiring for part-time or full-time work, ideally 27–40 hours per week . We are open to discussing other scheduling options with the right candidate.
We’d love to meet someone who brings warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to helping children communicate and participate in ways that matter to them and their families.
