Job summary

KidsCare Home Health seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in home health settings. The SLP will evaluate, treat, and educate patients and families, coordinating care with physicians and other disciplines.

The role emphasizes creating patient-centered treatment plans, maintaining records, and participating in ongoing education. A supportive, mentor-driven environment is offered, with opportunities to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state licensure is required.
• CPR certification required; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations focusing on receptive/expressive language, articulation, and related skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Participate in QA/QI programs and continuing education.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity.
• Mentor students and new hires; collaborate with the team.
