Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide at-home pediatric therapy, evaluate communication and swallowing disorders, and guide families in therapy tasks. You will collaborate with caregivers and physicians to deliver individualized treatment in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations with emphasis on receptive and expressive language, fluency, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress, home programs, and issues in therapy.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment."
• Attend internal/external education events, participate in QAPI, and expand service scope.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity; collaborate with team and mentor students/new hires.
• Actively participate in professional organizations and activities; demonstrate initiative and independent judgment.
• Back up service provider for other caseloads as needed; comply with policies.
