Job summary

Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide communication therapy services for ECI clients in Laredo and Zapata County.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech-language-hearing needs, participate in team assessments, and deliver home and center-based training to families, while coordinating with supervisors and other staff.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders and Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with ASHA CCC.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record; auto insurance required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide communication therapy services for CACOST ECI clients.
• Identify, assess, diagnose, and treat children in need of speech-language-hearing services.
• Participate in initial and ongoing team assessments; provide home and center-based training.
• Access case management activities and conduct in-service training for colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare clinical materials.
• Provide in-service training to program staff and to parents/guardians.
• Schedule updates and plan per the IFSP; coordinate transitions for children.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
