Job summary

East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric patients in accordance with ASHA guidelines.

Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Tennessee licensure eligibility or CF/CCC-SLP. Responsibilities include evaluations, Plan of Care development, therapy, documentation, and family education.

• Delivers skilled therapy and provides education to patients and caregivers; plans discharge as appropriate.
• Documents services clearly per department standards and submits charges accurately.
• Coordinates patient care with the clinical team to optimize outcomes.
• Educates caregivers on attendance, participation, and home carryover; adjusts plans as needed.
• Maintains professional relationships and contributes to a learning environment for students.
