Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Deptford, New Jersey seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (Full-Time) to conduct examinations, evaluations and interventions for pediatric and related patient populations. Duties include documentation, caregiver education, and coordination with medical staff.

The role requires licensure in NJ, Delaware, BLS, and CCC-SLP or CFY in-progress, with opportunities to provide inpatient/outpatient coverage as needed and to join a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-accredited) required.
• NJ SLP license or provisional license required.
• DE SLP license required; license or proof of application within 2 weeks of hire.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY in-process with goal of CCC-SLP within 10-12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology examination, evaluation, intervention, and documentation.
• Educate parents/caregivers and coordinate care with medical staff and outside agencies.
• Maintain required competencies and perform required training and coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in care planning and discharge planning.
