Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Deptford, New Jersey seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (Full-Time) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric communication disorders.

Responsibilities include patient examination, intervention planning, documentation, family education and care coordination with medical staff. May provide inpatient/outpatient coverage; NJ licensure required and DE licensure encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited university.
• State of New Jersey SLP license required or provisional license.
• Must obtain Delaware SLP license and maintain dual licensure.
• AHA BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY in-process with goal of CCC-SLP within 10–12 months.
• Experience: 3–6 months preferred; pediatrics experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services: examination, evaluation, intervention and documentation.
• Educate families and coordinate care with medical staff and outside agencies.
• Maintain competencies and participate in team meetings as an interdisciplinary member.
• Potential inpatient/outpatient coverage at Nemours sites as needed.
