Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to plan and implement treatment programs for pediatric patients in the West Speech Therapy Pediatric department. You will run evaluations, design plans of care, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will document progress, educate families, and participate in staff development. A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and state licensure or Intern Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Education - Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience - No experience required.
• In lieu of licensure and CCC, will accept state-specific Intern Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial speech therapy evaluations and designs plans of care.
• Implements and manages a comprehensive treatment plan for pediatric patients.
• Interacts with care team to coordinate interdisciplinary treatment.
• Documents assessment, planning, and discharge clearly in the medical record.
• Provides education to patients and families regarding diagnosis and progress.
• Participates in staff meetings, in-services, and performance standards.
