Advocate Health's Atrium Health Levine Children's Physical Therapy Charlotte is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and care planning for pediatric patients. You will deliver patient care appropriate to ages and populations, with clinical leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities include assessment, documentation, discharge planning, and mentoring colleagues within a collaborative outpatient team that includes SLPs, PTs, and OT.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Applicable state license for Speech-Language Pathology required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patients' medical, mental, and emotional needs at admission and during care.
• Develops and implements a plan of care to meet patient and family needs.
• Acts as patient advocate; treats patients and families with compassion and ensures timely care.
• Demonstrates clinical reasoning to evaluate and adjust therapy interventions.
• Communicates patient information and documents plan of care.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentoring to staff.
