Job summary

NAPA Center Inc. in Illinois seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric assessment and intervention for communication, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders.

Qualifications

• Must hold state licensure and ASHA CCC credentials.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics.
• Background check by DOJ and FBI; annual TB test.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to travel for training or treatment as required.
• Ability to perform daily tasks safely (e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Strong communication and empathy with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and feeding-swallowing disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans considering age and medical factors.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Document evaluations and progress in EHR; complete reports.
• Train patients and caregivers in AAC systems and strategies.
• Participate in professional development and supervision.
• Provide input into clinical practices and policy compliance.
