Job summary

NAPA Center Inc. seeks Speech & Language Pathologist Assistants to work with infants through adolescents with neurological, developmental, and feeding needs under licensed SLPs.

You will support assessments, implement evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help clients improve communication and feeding skills. Qualified candidates will hold an active SLPA license, complete an accredited SLPA program, and demonstrate strong communication, rapport-building,

Qualifications

• Current and active SLPA license with the appropriate state board.
• Completion of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent education and training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and parents.
• Positive, patient, and professional demeanor.
• DOJ and FBI background clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised intervention and support assessment activities for pediatric speech, language, and feeding disorders.
• Work under a licensed SLP to inform treatment planning and use standardized tools.
• Educate and train families to improve communication across environments.
• Maintain documentation and assist with report writing as directed.
