Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate Texas intern license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows may be considered based on supervision and mentorship availability.
  • Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized pediatric speech and language therapy in the home setting.
  • Evaluate children and develop individualized care plans, as permitted by role and scope of practice.
  • Implement treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities.
  • Address speech, language, communication, social interaction, feeding, and functional skills.
  • Monitor progress and adjust or communicate recommended changes to care plans, as permitted by scope of practice.
  • Educate and empower parents and caregivers to maximize carryover between visits.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and families throughout their care journey.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate Texas intern license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Clinical Fellows may be considered based on supervision and mentorship availability
  • Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required
  • Feeding experience or an interest in developing feeding skills is a plus but not required

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

  • Meets Texas education and clinical requirements for practice as an SLPA
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license
  • Ability to provide treatment under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • New graduates may be considered based on mentorship and support availability
  • Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required

  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel within an assigned service area
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
