Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide medically prescribed speech therapy to pediatric patients in home settings. Under supervision, you will direct patients and caregivers in targeted tasks to reinforce progress.

You will coordinate with office staff, maintain documentation, and participate in CE activities while managing an appropriate caseload and contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with emphasis in Communication Disorders and Sciences.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients and educate families.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services when needed.
• Consult with supervisor on patient progress and maintain records.
• Participate in supervised visits as required by state guidelines.
• Maintain supplies and participate in QA and PI activities.
• Attend Continuing Education activities.
