Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide pediatric speech therapy in home health settings under supervision. The role emphasizes patient- and caregiver-education to reinforce progress.

The SLPA will coordinate with the supervisor, maintain records, and participate in continuing education. A 0–2 year experience range, undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences, state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with emphasis in Communication Disorders and Sciences.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed speech therapy for pediatric patients at home.
• Direct patient and caregiver in targeted tasks to reinforce therapy.
• Coordinate patient care with supervisor and office staff.
• Maintain communication with family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer to appropriate services and resources as needed.
• Maintain records and participate in QA and continuing education.
• Back up other caseloads as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
