Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to provide direct pediatric speech therapy for children ages 2–6 under licensed SLP supervision. You will use ESMD-informed play-based approaches, incorporating AAC devices and collaboration with OTs and BCBA teams.

The role requires active SLPA licensure, ASHA C-SLPA certification, and prior experience with children. On-site full-time position with 4x10 or 5x8 schedules and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold SLPA licensure/registration as an SLPA.
• ASHA C-SLPA certification is required.
• Active state licensure/registration as SLPA.
• Experience working with children; AAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct pediatric speech therapy sessions for children ages 2–6.
• Implement functional communication interventions including AAC strategies.
• Integrate speech and language goals into ESMD-informed, play-based care.
• Collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians to reinforce goals.
• Partner with families to set meaningful goals and strategies for home use.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, play-based interventions.
