Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a pediatric speech therapy team using an interdisciplinary early intervention model for children aged 2–6 with autism. The role leverages ESDM-informed care to support communication development.

You will assess needs, develop tailored treatment plans, deliver developmentally appropriate therapy, integrate AAC when needed, and collaborate with OTs, BCBA(s), psychologists, and families to set practical goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2 to 6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs.
