Job summary

Charm City Therapy in Rockville, MD is seeking a qualified Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team and support students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families, development of IEPs, direct therapy, and supervision of clinicians; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write formal diagnostic reports.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Document and track student progress toward IEP goals.
• Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.
• Supervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.
• Provide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.
