Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Intern Speech-Language Pathologist to provide medically prescribed speech therapy to pediatric patients in a home health setting. You will direct the patient and caregiver in selected tasks to reinforce and enhance performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Currentstate-issuedprofessional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide speech therapy to pediatric patients in home health.
• Direct the patient and caregiver in tasks to reinforce and enhance performance.
• Perform evaluations with focus on receptive and expressive language, articulation, and oral motor skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Collaborate with supervisor on patient progress and maintain records.
