Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in patients' homes. The SLP will evaluate, plan, and conduct medically prescribed therapy and train caregivers to reinforce progress.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a current state license, CPR certification, and a willingness to work in home health environments with variable caseloads and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations with emphasis on receptive and expressive language, articulation, and vocal skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
