Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients in home health settings. You will direct patient and caregiver activities to reinforce progress and partner with families to support communication development.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, ongoing education, and maintaining appropriate caseloads while delivering high-quality care. A pediatric focus, state licensure, and CPR are required; home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Valid State Driver License.
• CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients, including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations with focus on receptive and expressive language, fluency, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Attend internal and external education events as needed.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs.
• Attend Continuing Education activities to expand scope of service.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity.
• Contribute to team goals and collaboration.
