Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support pediatric clients ages 2–6 within an interdisciplinary early intervention model. You will deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy, develop AAC-based interventions, and coordinate with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians in an ESDM-informed approach.

You’ll work with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies, while advancing your expertise in pediatric care and AAC.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsabilités

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2 to 6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs.
