Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support pediatric patients aged 2–6 within an interdisciplinary early intervention model. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized speech therapy using AAC strategies and ES DM-informed practices.

You’ll collaborate with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians, guiding families with practical strategies and ongoing data-driven therapy. This role emphasizes growth in pediatric care and AAC expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2 to 6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ES DM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs.
