Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school students. This role serves a caseload of approximately 20 students with itinerant travel between district sites, focusing on speech, language, and social communication development.

The successful candidate will have Oregon SLP licensure, CCC or CFY candidates welcomed, and experience with pediatrics in educational or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

  • Active Oregon SLP licensure required.
  • ASHA CCC or CFY candidates welcome.
  • Experience with pediatrics in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of teletherapy, case management, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with autism, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve middle school students with a caseload of approximately 20 children, case managing around 10.
  • Plan and deliver speech-language therapy, conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with staff and families to support students communication needs.
  • Travel between school sites as assigned (itinerant position).
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal compliance.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
