Job summary

Fargo Public Schools is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate students and develop therapeutic plans to support their educational progress. You will implement therapy within school settings to meet IEP objectives and collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities include scheduling evaluations, maintaining records, and ensuring proper setup of therapy spaces and equipment. A 9-month schedule and 1.0 FTE position are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed by the State of North Dakota and certified by the Occupational Therapy Certification Board (NBCOT).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates students to determine functional levels and plans therapeutic activities.
• Implements therapy to help students benefit from education and meet IEP goals.
• Collaborates with teachers, families, physicians, and agencies.
• Sets up, maintains, and cleans treatment areas and equipment.
• Schedules evaluations and treatments; maintains records and reports.
• Supervises caseload and coordinates with district staff.
