Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, NY seeks Per Diem Fee-For-Service Physical Therapists for its School-Based Rehabilitation Program for the 2027–2028 school year. New grads are welcome. You will evaluate and treat school‑age children, document progress, and develop IEPs, with ongoing parent/teacher coordination.

Responsibilities include attending district meetings and adhering to NY state regulations. Per diem opportunities and potential supervision are available.

Qualifications

• Education: BS, MS, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• NY State PT license required.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and intervention for school‑based children in schools or homes.
• Document sessions and progress; prepare IEPs.
• Maintain communication with parents, guardians, and teachers.
• Attend mandatory SBRP and district meetings/trainings.
• Supervise opportunities may exist.
