Saint Cyr Partners in Elmira, NY seeks a School-Based Physical Therapist (Pediatric) to evaluate students, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions within a collaborative rehab team.

You’ll work with an interdisciplinary group, manage documentation, and support student participation in daily school life. A NYS license and BLS within 90 days are required, with pediatrics or school settings preferred.

Formación

• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review student referrals and assess physical needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional training.
• Teach proper use of mobility aids and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for coordinated care.
• Complete all required documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Provide direction to rehab support staff.
• Maintain safety standards, infection control procedures.
• Contribute to quality initiatives and committees.
• Assist with student transport and coverage for senior therapists.

Educación

Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State

BLS certification
