Job summary

Blythedale Children's Hospital in Westchester County, NY, is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist per diem to provide independent clinical services under supervision. The role focuses on evaluating and treating neuro-muscular, functional, and developmental skills to maximize daily life functioning in pediatric patients.

The PT will manage a caseload, document using Meditech EMR, and participate in training therapy aides and students.

Qualifications

• Pediatric PT experience; new graduates welcome.
• Current NYS PT license or eligibility.
• Accredited PT program with a Bachelors, Masters, or DPT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric PT evaluations and treatment.
• Develop goals and treatment plans based on PT theory.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.
• Maintain a caseload of 45 units and 9–10 units per day.
• Participate in supervision, co-treatment, and problem-solving.
• Supervise therapy aides, senior PT students, and volunteers.
• Document care timely using Meditech EMR.
• Provide PT services for community-based school children.
